Hadith 3103
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, he says: On the day of Uhud, the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, turned towards the martyrs and said: Cover them with their blood, I bear witness on their behalf.)) Then two or three men were buried in a single grave, and at the time of burial it was asked which of them had memorized more of the Qur'an, and he would be placed first in the grave. Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, says: That day my father and uncle were buried in one grave.
Hadith 3104
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Suhair رضي الله عنه, he says: When the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم turned towards the martyrs of Uhud, he said: I am a witness over them. Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah, Allah Almighty will raise him on the Day of Resurrection in such a state that blood will be flowing from his wound; its color will be like blood, but its fragrance will be like musk. Now see! Among them, the one who has memorized more of the Noble Qur’an, place him towards the front in the grave.
Hadith 3105
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the martyrs of Uhud: Do not give them a bath, for on the Day of Resurrection, every wound or every drop of blood will emit the fragrance of musk. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not perform their funeral prayer either.

Abdullah bin Farukh says: I was present when Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) was buried in his clothes along with his blood, and he was not given a ritual bath (ghusl).
