Hadith 3100
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The day the illness of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) began, he came to me and I said: Oh, my head! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I wish it would happen that (after you fall ill) you would pass away, then I would prepare you and bury you.
Hadith 3101
(Second chain of narration) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: It will not harm you if you pass away before me, for I will bathe you, shroud you, offer your funeral prayer, and then bury you.
Hadith 3102
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: If I had known later what I came to know, then only the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given him (peace and blessings be upon him) the ritual bath.
