Hadith 3038
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Ali! Do not delay in three matters: the prayer when its time arrives, the funeral when it is present, and the marriage of an unmarried person when you find a suitable match for them.
Hadith 3039
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the morning prayer and then asked: "Is there anyone from such-and-such tribe present here?" The companions replied: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your companion has been stopped at the gate of Paradise because of debt."
Hadith 3040
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The soul of a believer is held back until his debt is paid off.
Hadith 3041
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Atwal (may Allah be pleased with him) says: His brother passed away, leaving behind three hundred dirhams, and he also had family and dependents. I wanted to spend this amount on them. But the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your brother has been held back because of debt, so you should pay off his debt on his behalf. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have paid all his debt, but two dinars remain; a woman has made a claim about them, but she has no proof. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Give them to her as well, because she is speaking the truth.
