Hadith 2944
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: During the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), rain fell upon us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, removed (some part of) his garment from his body until the rain touched it. He was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Why did you do this? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Because it has just come freshly from Allah, the Exalted.
Hadith 2945
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: Hailstones were sent down upon us, and Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was fasting, began to eat these hailstones. Someone said to him: Are you eating this while you are fasting? He replied: Indeed, this is a blessing.
Hadith 2946
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Indeed, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw rain, he would say: "Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an." (O Allah! Make it a beneficial rain.)
