Hadith 2936
Their uncle (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid Mazni) رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم went out towards the Eid ground, faced the Qiblah, turned his cloak, and performed two units of prayer. Sufyan says: Turning the cloak means that the right edge is placed on the left side and the left edge on the right side.
Hadith 2937
(Second chain) Abdullah bin Zaid says: Indeed, I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he prayed for rain for us, he made a long supplication and asked Allah Almighty very much, then he turned towards the Qiblah and turned his cloak inside out, turning its outer side to the inner side, and the people also turned their cloaks along with him, peace and blessings be upon him.
Hadith 2938
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for rain, while he was wearing a black cloak. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to take hold of its lower part and raise it upwards, but when this became difficult, he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned (the upper part of it) instead, that is, he placed the right side on the left and the left side on the right.
