Hadith 2880
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these first ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah). The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: O Messenger of Allah! Not even striving (jihad) in the way of Allah (in other days)? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Not even striving in the way of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with none of them.
