أَبْوَابُ الْعِيدَيْنِ * وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِمَا مِنْ صَلَاةٍ وَغَيْرِهَا
Chapters on the Two Eids and What Relates to Them of Prayer and Other Matters

بَابُ سَبَبِ مَشْرُوعِيَّتِهَا وَاسْتِحْبَابِ الْغُسْلِ وَالتَّجَمُّلِ لَهُمَا وَمُخَالَفَةِ الطَّرِيقِ
Chapter on the reason for its legislation, the recommendation of bathing and beautifying for them, and taking a different route
2 بَابُ مَشْرُوعِيَّةِ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ إِلَى الْعِيدَيْنِChapter on the legitimacy of women going out to the two Eids
3 بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْأَكْلِ قَبْلَ الْخُرُوجِ فِي الْفِطْرِ دُونَ الْأَضْحَى - وَالْكَلَامِ عَلَى وَقْتِ الصَّلَاةُ فِيهِمَاChapter on the recommendation of eating before going out for Eid al-Fitr but not Eid al-Adha, and discussion on the time of prayer for both
4 بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ وَاتِّخَاذِ سُتْرَةٍ أَمَامَ الْإِمَامِ فِي الْمُصَلَّىChapter on Eid prayer being two rak'ahs before the sermon, without call to prayer or Iqamah, and the Imam taking a screen in the prayer area
5 فَصْلٌ فِي اتِّخَاذِ الْحُرْيَةِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ الْإِمَامِSection on freeing slaves on Eid day before the Imam
6 بَابُ عَدَدِ التَّكْبِيرَاتِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِيدِ وَمَحَلِّهَاChapter on the number and place of Takbirs in Eid prayer
7 بَابُ مَا يُقْرَأُ بِهِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِChapter on what is recited in the two Eid prayers
8 بَابُ خُطْبَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ وَأَحْكَامِهَا وَوَعْظِ النِّسَاءِ وَحَثِّهِنَّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِChapter on the Eid sermon, its rulings, exhorting women, and encouraging them to give charity
9 بَابُ وُقُوفِ الْإِمَامِ لِلنَّاسِ بَعْدَ انْصِرَافِهِمْ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدِ وَالنَّظَرِ إِلَيْهِمْ وَمَا جَاءَ فِي التَّهْنِئَةِ بِالْعِيدِChapter on the Imam standing for the people after they leave the Eid prayer, looking at them, and what is reported regarding Eid greetings
10 بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْعِيدِ وَبَعْدَهَاChapter on prayer before and after Eid
11 بَابُ الضَّرْبِ بِالدُّفِّ وَاللَّعِبِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِChapter on beating the drum and playing on Eid day
12 بَابُ الْحَثِّ عَلَى الذِّكْرِ وَالطَّاعَةِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ لِلْعِيدَيْنِ وَفِي أَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ وَأَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِChapter on urging remembrance, obedience, and Takbir for the two Eids, the ten days, and the days of Tashreeq
