Hadith 2768
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِذَا نَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you feels sleepy in the mosque on the day of Jumu’ah, he should move from his place and sit somewhere else.
Hadith 2769
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَا يُقِيمُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ يُخَالِفُهُ إِلَى مَقْعَدِهِ وَلَٰكِنْ لِيَقُلِ افْسَحُوا))
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: None of you should make his brother get up from his place on the day of Jumu’ah so that he himself may sit in his place; rather, he should say: Make room.
Hadith 2770
عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَرْقَمِ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((إِنَّ الَّذِي يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ الْإِثْنَيْنِ بَعْدَ خُرُوجِ الْإِمَامِ كَالْجَارِّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ))
Sayyiduna Arqam bin Abi Arqam, may Allah be pleased with him, who was a Companion, narrates that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, the person who steps over people's necks on the day of Jumu'ah and separates two people (by pushing in) after the Imam has come out, then that person is like one who is dragging his intestines in the Fire.
Hadith 2771
عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ (مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ) أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ تَخَطَّى الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ اتُّخِذَ جِسْرًا إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Anas al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever steps over the necks of Muslims on the day of Jumu’ah, a bridge to Hell will be made for him.
Hadith 2772
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ’’زَادَ فِي رِوَايَةٍ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ‘‘ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَقَالَ: ((اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ آذَيْتَ وَآنَيْتَ))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came towards the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while stepping over people's necks, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon to the people on the day of Jumu'ah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Sit down, you have caused inconvenience to the people and you have come late."
Hadith 2773
عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الْحَبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade sitting with knees drawn up (habwah) on Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon.
Hadith 2774
عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ جَاءَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَعَدَ فِي الشَّمْسِ، قَالَ: فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ أَوْ قَالَ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الظِّلِّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hazim (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came and sat in the sun, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured or ordered him to move to the shade.
