Hadith 2722
Iyas bin Abi Ramla Shami says: I was present with Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he asked Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him): Were you present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when two Eids were combined? He said: Yes, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Eid prayer at the beginning of the day, and then, granting concession regarding Jumu'ah, he said: Whoever wishes to perform Jumu'ah may do so.
Hadith 2723
Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that it rained on a Friday, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the order and it was announced: Today, the prayer or Jumu'ah will be performed in the homes.
Hadith 2724
Ammar bin Abu Ammar passed by Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), while he was at the Umm Abdullah canal (in Basra), (the rain was so heavy that) its water was flowing over his children and slaves. Ammar said: Abu Saeed! Go to perform the Friday prayer. He replied from ahead that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When it is a day of heavy rain, everyone should perform the prayer in his own house.
