فَصْلٌ مِنْهُ فِي الْحَثِّ عَلَى الْإِكْثَارِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ
Section on urging to increase sending blessings upon the Prophet on Friday
Hadith 2701
عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مِنْ أَفْضَلِ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ، فِيهَا خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهَا قُبِضَ، وَفِيهَا النَّفْخَةُ وَفِيهَا الصَّعْقَةُ، فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فِيهَا فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ))، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! وَكَيْفَ تُعْرَضُ عَلَيْكَ صَلَاتُنَا وَقَدْ أُرِمْتَ يَعْنِي وَقَدْ بَلِيتَ؟ قَالَ: ((إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ أَجْسَادَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The best of days is the day of Friday; on it Adam (peace be upon him) was created and on it he passed away, and on it the blowing of the trumpet will occur. Therefore, send abundant blessings upon me, for your blessings are presented to me. The companions said: O Messenger of Allah! How will our blessings be presented to you when you will have decayed (in the earth)? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah Almighty has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets.
Hadith 2702
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: ((لَيْلَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ غَرَّاءُ وَيَوْمُهَا أَزْهَرُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The night of Friday is luminous and its day is radiant.
