Hadith 2523
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever performs ablution and performs it well, then goes (towards the mosque), but finds that the people have already performed the prayer, Allah Almighty will grant him a reward equal to that of those who were present at the prayer, and this will not diminish anything from their rewards.
Hadith 2524
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When the iqamah for prayer is called, do not come running for the prayer, but come in a state of calmness and dignity. Then, whatever you catch (with the imam), perform it, and whatever you miss, complete it later. For when any of you intends to pray, he is already considered to be in prayer.
