Hadith 2398
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) combined the Zuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha prayers in Madinah, while there was neither fear nor rain. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked, "What was the purpose of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in doing so (without fear or rain)?" He replied that the intention of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was that the Ummah should not be put into hardship.
Hadith 2399
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed seven (rak‘ahs by combining Maghrib and ‘Isha) and eight (rak‘ahs by combining Zuhr and ‘Asr), while he was residing in Madinah and was not a traveler.
Hadith 2400
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, says: I offered eight rak‘ahs combined and seven rak‘ahs combined with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Amr says: I said to Jabir bin Zaid: O Abu Sha‘tha! I think that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delayed Zuhr and offered ‘Asr early, and delayed Maghrib and offered ‘Isha early. He said: I also think the same.
Hadith 2401
Abdur Rahman bin Yazid says: I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) at Muzdalifah. He performed two prayers, each prayer with a separate adhan and iqamah, and ate food between them. He offered the Fajr prayer when the dawn had already appeared, or he said that he offered this prayer at a time when some would say the dawn had appeared and others would say it had not yet appeared. Then he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, at this place, the times of these two prayers are shifted from their usual times, because people reach Muzdalifah when the darkness (after the disappearance of twilight) has set in, and the Fajr prayer is offered at that time.
Hadith 2402
Hakam says that Saeed bin Jubair led us in three rak‘ahs of Maghrib prayer at Muzdalifah with one iqamah, and after completing it with salam, he led us in two rak‘ahs of ‘Isha prayer. Then he mentioned that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had done this act, and he had said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had done so.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived at Muzdalifah, he dismounted, performed ablution, and performed ablution well. Then the call for the establishment of prayer (iqamah) was given, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) led the Maghrib prayer. Then every man made his camel sit at its place. Then the call for the establishment of prayer (iqamah) was given, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer, and between these two prayers he did not perform any (optional) prayer.
Hadith 2407
