Hadith 2332
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that some people from Banu Hashim came to Sayyidah Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the wife of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). In the meantime, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) also arrived, and he disliked this matter. So he mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and also said that I only see good in this (i.e., there is no ill suspicion). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah has absolved Asma from this. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood on the pulpit and said: After today, no man should go to a woman whose husband is not present, except that there should be one or two other people with him.
Hadith 2333
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: Do not go to those women whose husbands are not at home, because Satan circulates among you like blood. We said: O Messenger of Allah! (Is it the same) with you as well? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: With me as well, but Allah Almighty has helped me, so he has become a Muslim.
Hadith 2334
Abu Salih says that Sayyiduna Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission from Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) to enter the house, and she granted permission. He came inside and asked: Is Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) present here? She said: No. So he went back. Later, he came again and sought permission and asked: Is Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) present here? The people said: Yes. Then he came inside. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him: What prevented you from coming inside (and sitting here) in my absence last time? Sayyiduna Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from entering upon those women whose husbands are not present at home.
Hadith 2335
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sits on the bed of a woman whose husband is not at home, Allah Almighty will set a snake upon him on the Day of Resurrection.
