Hadith 2298
Musa bin Wardan says that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to a man: I bid you farewell in the same manner as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bade me farewell (or the narrator said, as the Messenger of Allah [peace and blessings be upon him] bade farewell), I entrust you to Allah, in Whose trust nothing entrusted is ever lost.
Hadith 2299
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man left from Khaybar, two men started following him, and another one behind them, who was saying to them: "Stop, stop." (Until) he turned them back, then he caught up with the first man and informed him that these two were devils, I kept following them until I turned them back. When you reach the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), convey my greetings to him and inform him that we are collecting charity here; if it is suitable for you (peace and blessings be upon him), we will send it. That man reached Madinah and conveyed his message to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade seclusion (being alone).

Abdullah bin Amr bin Faghwa narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Amr bin Faghwa (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called me, because he wanted to give me some wealth to send to Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him), so that he could distribute it among the Quraysh. This incident took place after the conquest of Makkah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Find yourself a companion. Amr bin Umayyah Damri (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me and said: I have heard that you intend to travel and are looking for a companion? I said: Yes. He said: I am your companion. I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him that I had found a companion, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had told me that when you find a companion, inform me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who is your companion? I said: Amr bin Umayyah Damri (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you enter the territory of his people, be cautious of him, for indeed someone once said: Your brother is stronger than you, so do not become fearless of him. So we set out and reached Abwa. That companion said to me: The dwelling of my people is in the Waddan area, I have some business with them, so wait for me. I said to him: Alright (I will wait). When he left, I remembered the advice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so I mounted my camel, departed from there, and made it run swiftly until I reached the place of Asafir. (But I saw that) he, along with a group of his people, came before me to intercept my way. But I made my camel run faster and got ahead of him. Then, when he saw that he could not overpower me, those people turned back and Amr bin Umayyah came to me and said: I had some business with my people. I concealed the matter and said: Alright, then we continued until we reached Makkah Mukarramah and I handed over the wealth to Abu Sufyan.
