Hadith 2285
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Travel and you will remain healthy, and engage in battle and you will become wealthy.
Hadith 2286
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no one who goes out, who leaves his house, except that there are two flags at his door, one flag in the hand of an angel and one in the hand of Satan. If the person goes out for a deed pleasing to Allah, then the angel takes his flag and walks behind him, and that person remains under the angel’s flag until he returns home. And if he goes out for a deed that angers Allah, then Satan takes his flag and walks behind him, and that person remains under Satan’s flag until he returns home.
Hadith 2287
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Angels do not accompany a caravan in which there is a dog or the sound of a bell.
Hadith 2288
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When you travel through green pastures, give the camels their due right, and when you travel through dry land, move quickly, and when you intend to camp at the end of the night, then leave the road and camp to one side.
Hadith 2289
(Second chain) In this it is stated: And when you camp in the last part of the night, then stay to one side of the roads, because these pathways become the routes of animals and the dwelling places of insects at night.
Hadith 2290
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you travel through lush and green land, let your mounts graze, and do not go beyond the (resting) stations of travelers. When you travel through barren land, move quickly and travel at night, for the earth is folded up at night. And when sorcerer jinn appear in various colors and forms to mislead people from the path, then call the adhan. Avoid praying and camping in the middle of the road, for at night these are the abodes of wild beasts and snakes, etc. Also, avoid urinating or defecating on the road, for this act becomes a cause of curse.
Hadith 2291
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) camped at a place during the night, he would lie down on his right side, and when he camped shortly before dawn, he would lie down placing his head between his palms, with his arm resting on the ground.
