Hadith 2247
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent out an army. They obtained spoils of war and returned quickly. People talked about how quickly the battle ended, the abundance of spoils they acquired, and their swift return. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not guide you to something that is closer in terms of expedition, greater in terms of spoils, and nearer in terms of return? Whoever performs ablution and then goes to the mosque to offer the Duha (forenoon) prayer, that person is closer in terms of expedition, greater in spoils, and quicker in return.
Hadith 2248
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever regularly performs the two rak‘ahs of Duha prayer, all his sins will be forgiven, even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.
Hadith 2249
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who says that my beloved (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) gave me these three counsels: to fast three days every month, to perform the Duha (forenoon) prayer, and to sleep after performing the Witr prayer.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that he went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the expedition of Tabuk. One day, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was conversing with his companions, and among the things he said was: Whoever stands at that time when the sun has risen high, then performs ablution well and offers two units of prayer, his sins will be forgiven and he will become as if his mother had given birth to him on that very day.
Hadith 2251
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, Allah the Exalted says: O son of Adam! Do not be incapable of offering four rak‘ahs at the beginning of the day; (if you perform this prayer) I will suffice you at the end of the day.
Hadith 2252
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Naeem bin Hammar Ghatafani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Your Lord says: O son of Adam! Perform four units of prayer for Me at the beginning of the day, I will suffice you at the end of the day (from all needs and difficulties).
Hadith 2253
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that my beloved friend Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding three things, which I will never abandon for any reason. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me to fast three days every month, to sleep only after performing the Witr prayer, and to offer the Duha (forenoon) prayer whether at home or on a journey.
Hadith 2254
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you wakes up in the morning, there is a charity due on every joint of his body. Saying SubhanAllah is charity, saying La ilaha illallah is charity, saying Allahu Akbar is charity, enjoining good is charity, and forbidding evil is charity. (In this way, by performing these acts, the charity due on these limbs can be fulfilled.) And two rak‘ahs performed at the time of Duha suffice for all these.
Hadith 2255
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The (Eid al-Adha) sacrifice has been made obligatory upon me, but it has not been made obligatory upon you, and I have been commanded to perform two units of Duha prayer, whereas you have not been commanded to do so.
