Hadith 2079
Sayyiduna Mahmood bin Labeed (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Banu Abdul-Ashhal, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in the Maghrib prayer. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer with salam, he said: "Pray these two rak‘ahs in your homes." Abu Abdur Rahman said: I said to my father that a man thinks that whoever prays two rak‘ahs in the mosque after Maghrib, it will not suffice him; it is necessary for him to perform them in his house, because the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These are among the prayers of the home." My father asked: Who is this man? I said: Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman. He said: How excellent is what he has said, or how excellent is the narration he has reported, or how excellent is the narration he has transmitted.
Hadith 2080
Mawla of the Messenger, Sayyiduna Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when he was asked whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to command any prayer after the obligatory prayers, he said: Yes, between Maghrib and Isha.
