عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أُخْتِهِ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى) لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ وَفِي أُخْرَى: فِي لَيْلِهِ وَنَهَارِهِ) ثِنْتَيْ عَشَرَةَ رَكْعَةً (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ سَجْدَةً) تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ إِلَّا بُنِي لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، أَوْ بَنَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ)) فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ: فَمَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ، وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو: مَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ، وَقَالَ النُّعْمَانُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
It is narrated from the wife of the Messenger, Sayyida Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever among the Muslim servants performs ablution well, then in one day and night, in addition to the obligatory prayers, offers twelve units of prayer for the sake of Allah Almighty, a house is built for him in Paradise, or Allah Almighty builds a house for him in Paradise. Sayyida Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I have always been performing these units of prayer. (The chain narrator) Amr says: After reading this hadith, I have also been performing these units of prayer. (Another chain narrator) Nu'man says: I have also always been performing these units of prayer.
Hadith 2033
عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشَرَةَ رَكْعَةً سِوَى الْفَرِيضَةِ بُنِي لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs twelve rak‘ahs in a day and night, apart from the obligatory prayers, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
Hadith 2034
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَبِي وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ: مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي فِي يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشَرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا إِلَّا بُنِي لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Whoever among the Muslims prays twelve units of voluntary prayer in a day, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
Hadith 2035
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ كِنْدَةَ يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((لَا يَنْتَقِصُ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَتَمَّهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ سُبْحَتِهِ))
Abdur Rahman bin Muawiyah bin Hudaij reports: I heard from a man of Kindah, who said: An Ansari companion narrated to me that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you is deficient in his obligatory prayer, Allah Almighty completes its deficiency from his voluntary prayers.
