Hadith 2015
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite a Surah containing a verse of prostration before us, while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was not in prayer. Then, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prostration of recitation, we would also prostrate along with him (peace and blessings be upon him), to the extent that some of us would not even find a place to put our foreheads down.
Hadith 2016
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us the Qur'an. So when he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pass by a verse of prostration in the Qur'an, he would perform prostration and we would also perform prostration along with him.
