عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِذَا قَرَأَ ابْنُ آدَمَ السَّجْدَةَ فَسَجَدَ اعْتَزَلَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَبْكِي يَقُولُ: يَا وَيْلَهُ، أُمِرْتُ بِالسُّجُودِ فَسَجَدَ فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ، وَأُمِرْتُ بِالسُّجُودِ فَعَصَيْتُ فَلِيَ النَّارُ)) (مسند أحمد: 9711)
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person recites a verse of prostration and then performs prostration, Satan withdraws and weeps, saying: "Alas! This human was commanded to prostrate, so he prostrated, and Paradise is for him. I was also commanded to prostrate, but I disobeyed, so the Fire is for me."
Hadith 2011
عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَجَدْتُّ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً، مِنْهَا سَجْدَةُ النَّجْمِ
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I performed eleven prostrations with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), one of which was the prostration of Surah An-Najm.
