Hadith 1888
Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said on the pulpit: O people! Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Nothing breaks the prayer except hadath (a state of impurity). I do not feel shy to mention that which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was not shy to mention. Hadath is when a person passes wind silently or audibly.
Hadith 1889
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When there is nothing in front of the one praying as high as the back of a saddle, then a woman, a donkey, and a black dog break his prayer. Abdullah bin Samit said: What is the matter of specifying the black dog among the red dogs? He said: Nephew! Just as you asked me, I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The black dog is a devil.
Hadith 1890
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Nothing breaks a Muslim's prayer except a donkey, a disbeliever, a dog, and a woman. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, we have been equated with evil animals.
Hadith 1891
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A menstruating woman, a donkey, and a dog break the prayer.
Hadith 1892
Aswad says: When Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) heard that people say that a dog, a donkey, and a woman invalidate the prayer, she said: Do I not see that people have equated us with dogs and donkeys? Whereas it often happened that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray at night and I would be lying on the bed between him and the Qiblah. When I needed something, I would slip away from the foot side of the bed, disliking that I should face my face towards the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 1893
(Second chain) She says: It is a bad thing that you have equated us with dogs and donkeys, whereas I have seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying in such a state that I would be lying in front of him, and when he intended to prostrate, he would press my leg, so I would pull it towards myself, then he would prostrate.
Hadith 1894
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A dog and a menstruating woman invalidate the prayer.
Hadith 1895
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: A woman, a dog, and a donkey break the prayer.
