Hadith 1882
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) informed his servant Abu Ma’bad that during the Prophetic era, when people finished the obligatory prayer, they would raise their voices with dhikr. Furthermore, he said: In fact, when I used to hear this (dhikr’s) sound, I would recognize that the people had finished the prayer.
Hadith 1883
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I used to recognize the conclusion of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with the takbeer. Amr says: I said to (Abu Ma’bad): Have you narrated this hadith to me? He said: No, I have not narrated this to you.
