Hadith 1826
Under this chapter, the following sub-chapters and hadiths have been mentioned.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying the takbeer when going down, rising up, standing, and sitting, and turning for salam to the right and left in such a way that the whiteness of his cheeks would become visible. Then I saw Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) doing the same.
Hadith 1827
(Second chain) He says: It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of the cheek of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was turning to the left to offer salam.
Hadith 1828
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would turn to the right and to the left saying: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah," (he, peace and blessings be upon him, would turn his face so much that) the whiteness of his cheeks would become visible.
Hadith 1829
When Janab Wasi’ asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: Whenever you would go down or rise up, you would say Allahu Akbar, then to the right side you would say: As-Salamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullah, and to the left side you would say: As-Salamu ‘Alaikum.
Hadith 1830
Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that when he turned his head to the right for salam, the whiteness of his cheek would become visible, and similarly, when he turned his head to the left for salam, the whiteness of his cheek would become visible.
