Hadith 1659
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is pleased to recite the Qur'an fresh as it was revealed, then he should recite according to the recitation of the son of Umm Abd.
Hadith 1660
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When {لَمْ یَکُنِ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا} that is, Surah Bayyinah was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him): Allah Almighty has commanded me to recite this Surah {لَمْ یَکُنِ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا} to you. He asked: Did Allah Almighty mention my name? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Yes. Upon this, he began to weep.
Hadith 1661
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr mentioned Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, and then said: He is such a man whom I will always love, (the reason for this is that) I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Learn the Qur’an from four persons: the son of Umm ‘Abd, Mu’adh, and Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfah. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned him first. Ya’la, the narrator, says: I forgot the name of the fourth person.

(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Learn the Qur’an from four persons: Abdullah bin Mas’ud, Salim the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah, Mu’adh bin Jabal, and Ubayy bin Ka’b.
