It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When the Imam says {غَیْرِالْمَغْضُوْبِعَلَیْہِمْوَلَاالْضَّالِّیْنَ}, then you should say Ameen, because the angels also say Ameen, and the Imam also says Ameen. So, whoever’s saying Ameen coincides with the angels’ saying Ameen, his previous sins will be forgiven.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When the reciter (imam) says Ameen, you should also say Ameen, because whoever’s Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.

Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited {وَلَاالضَّالِّیْنَ}, he said Ameen and would prolong his voice with it (Ameen).
