Hadith 1455
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they bear witness that Allah Almighty alone is the true deity and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. When they bear witness, face our Qiblah, eat our slaughtered animals, and perform our prayers, then their blood and wealth will be forbidden to us, except by right, and for them will be what is for other common Muslims, and upon them will be what is upon other Muslims.
Hadith 1456
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rifa’ah bin Rafi’ al-Zuraqi, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to the one who performed prayer incorrectly: When you intend to pray, perform ablution and perform ablution well, then face the Qiblah, then say Allahu Akbar. Al-Hadith.
Hadith 1457
Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing voluntary prayers on his mount; he would gesture with his head (and did not mind) whichever direction he faced. However, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not do so in obligatory prayers.
