بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا
Chapter on the Prophet's Saying: The Earth Has Been Made for Me as a Purifier and a Mosque
Hadith 1324
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((جُعِلَتْ لِي الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا، فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُصَلِّ حَيْثُ أَدْرَكَتْهُ))
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The earth has been made a purifier and a mosque for me, therefore, wherever a person finds the time for prayer, he should perform the prayer there.
