Hadith 1237
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا غَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنُهُ أَوْ وَجِعَ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ بِاللَّيْلِ صَلَّى بِالنَّهَارِ إِثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was unable to perform the night prayer due to sleep overcoming him or some ailment, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform twelve units of prayer during the day.
Hadith 1238
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ نَامَ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ أَوْ نَسِيَهُ فَلْيُوْتِرْ إِذَا ذَكَرَهُ أَوِ اسْتَيْقَظَ))
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses the Witr prayer due to sleep or forgetfulness, then whenever he remembers or wakes up, he should perform the Witr.
Hadith 1239
عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَمْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصُّبْحِ فَوَجَدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصُّبْحِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَي الْفَجْرِ فَصَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَي الْفَجْرِ فَمَرَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: ((مَا هَٰذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ؟)) فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَسَكَتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ شَيْئًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qais bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came for the Fajr prayer and found the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Fajr prayer, while he had not performed the two Sunnah of Fajr. So he prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when the Fajr prayer was finished, he stood up to perform the Sunnah of Fajr. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him, he asked: "Which prayer is this?" He informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent and did not say anything.
Hadith 1240
عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاتَتْهُ رَكْعَتَانِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّاهُمَا بَعْدُ
It is narrated from the wife of the Messenger, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), that two rak'ahs before Asr were missed by the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed them after Asr.
