It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps through it, its expiation is that when he remembers it, he should perform it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person sleeps through a prayer or becomes heedless of it, then when he remembers it, he should perform it, because Allah the Exalted has said: "And establish prayer for My remembrance." (Surah Ta-Ha: 14)
