Hadith 1192
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ رَكْعَةً فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا كُلَّهَا))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever catches one rak‘ah of the prayer, indeed he has caught the whole prayer.
Hadith 1193
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ صَلَّى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَلَمْ تَفُتْهُ وَمَنْ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَلَمْ تَفُتْهُ (وَفِي لَفْظٍ: فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا)))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs one rak‘ah of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, then that prayer will not be missed for him; similarly, whoever performs two rak‘ahs of the ‘Asr prayer before sunset, then that prayer will not be missed for him. In another narration, it is stated: then he will have attained it.
Hadith 1194
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ صَلَّى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ثُمَّ طَلَعَتْ فَلْيُصَلِّ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs one rak‘ah of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, and then the sun rises, he should complete the second rak‘ah with it.
Hadith 1195
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ أَدْرَكَ سَجْدَةً مِنَ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَمِنَ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا))
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Asr prayer before sunset and one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, he has attained both these prayers.
