Hadith 1023
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: مَا هَجَّرْتُ إِلَّا وَجَدْتُّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي، قَالَ: فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَشْكَنْبَ دَرْدَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لَا، قَالَ: ((قُمْ فَصَلِّ فَإِنَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شِفَاءً))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Whenever I used to go at the beginning of the prayer, I would find the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing the prayer. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prayer and then said: Do you have pain in your stomach? I said: No. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then stand up and perform the prayer, for there is healing in the prayer.
Hadith 1024
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ فُلَانًا يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ سَرَقَ، قَالَ: ((إِنَّهُ سَيَنْهَاهُ مَا يَقُولُ))
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "So-and-so prays at night, but when morning comes, he starts stealing." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon this act of prayer will prevent him from doing that."
Hadith 1025
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ أَيِسَ أَنْ يَعْبُدَهُ الْمُصَلُّونَ وَلَكِنْ فِي التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَهُمْ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, Satan has despaired of being worshipped by those who pray in the Arabian Peninsula, but he will continue to incite them to fight and cause discord among themselves.
Hadith 1026
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مِفْتَاحُ الْجَنَّةِ الصَّلَاةُ وَمِفْتَاحُ الصَّلَاةِ الطُّهُورُ))
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The key to Paradise is prayer, and the key to prayer is ablution.
Hadith 1027
عَنْ عُثْمَانَ (بْنِ عَفَّانَ) رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ عَلِمَ أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ حَقٌّ وَاجِبٌ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever realizes that prayer is a right and an obligation will enter Paradise.
Hadith 1028
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا النِّسَاءُ وَالطِّيبُ وَجُعِلَ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Women and perfume have been made beloved to me from this world, and the coolness of my eyes has been placed in prayer.
Hadith 1029
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: إِنَّهُ قَدْ حُبِّبَ إِلَيْكَ الصَّلَاةُ، فَخُذْ مِنْهَا مَا شِئْتَ))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jibreel (peace be upon him) said to me: Indeed, prayer has been made beloved to you, so perform as much of it as you wish.
Hadith 1030
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ قَوْقَلٍ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! إِنْ حَلَّلْتُ الْحَلَالَ وَحَرَّمْتُ الْحَرَامَ وَصَلَّيْتُ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ وَلَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَأَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((نَعَمْ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Qawqal (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! If I consider the lawful as lawful, the unlawful as unlawful, and continue to perform the obligatory prayers and do nothing more than this, will I enter Paradise? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes.
Hadith 1031
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى صِهْرٍ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَقَالَ: يَا جَارِيَةُ! ائْتِينِي بِوَضُوءٍ لَعَلِّي أُصَلِّي فَأَسْتَرِيحَ فَرَآنَا أَنْكَرْنَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((قُمْ يَا بِلَالُ! فَأَرِحْنَا بِالصَّلَاةِ))
Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah says: I went with my father to my Ansari in-laws, and the time for prayer arrived. My father said: O girl! Bring water for ablution so that I may perform prayer and find comfort. But when he saw that we were denying these words of comfort, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Bilal! Get up and bring me comfort with the prayer.
Hadith 1032
عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ صَلَّى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that when any matter would cause the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distress, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform prayer.
Hadith 1033
عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ مِنْ آخِرِ وَصِيَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((الصَّلَاةَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ)) حَتَّى جَعَلَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُلَجْلِجُهَا فِي صَدْرِهِ وَمَا يَفِيضُ بِهَا لِسَانُهُ
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The last words of the will of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were: Adhere to the prayer, adhere to the prayer, and treat your slaves kindly. Until he (peace and blessings be upon him) began to repeat these words in his chest, and his tongue no longer had the strength to express them.
Hadith 1034
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((الصَّلَاةَ الصَّلَاةَ، اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ فِيمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the last words of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were: Adhere to the prayer, adhere to the prayer, and fear Allah regarding your slaves.
