Hadith 988
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (ra) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been given five things which were not given to anyone before me: I have been sent to all people, whereas before me every prophet was sent specifically to his own people, and I have been sent to all people; spoils of war have been made lawful for me, whereas before me they were not lawful for anyone; I have been helped with awe (cast into the hearts of my enemies) from a distance of one month’s journey; the earth has been made a purifier and a mosque for me, so wherever a man finds the time for prayer, he should pray there.
Hadith 989
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The entire earth has been made a mosque and a purifier for me and for my Ummah, so wherever any member of my Ummah finds the time for prayer, he will have his mosque and his means of purification with him.
Hadith 990
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been given comprehensive words, and the earth has been made a mosque and a purifier for me.
Hadith 991
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been given things which were not given to any prophet. We asked: O Messenger of Allah! What are those? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been helped with awe, the keys of the earth have been given to me, my name has been kept Ahmad, the earth has been made a purifier for me, and my Ummah has been made the best of all communities.
Hadith 992
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The earth has been made a mosque and a purifier for me; wherever the time of prayer finds me, I perform tayammum and offer prayer. This was difficult for the people before me; they would only pray in their synagogues and churches.
Hadith 993
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go out and perform tayammum after urinating. When I would say that water is near you, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: I do not know, perhaps I may not be able to reach there.
