Hadith 919
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when Sayyiduna Thumamah bin Uthal accepted Islam, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding him: Take him to the garden of Banu so-and-so and instruct him to perform ghusl (ritual bath) there.
Hadith 920
. (Second chain) When Sayyiduna Thumamah bin Uthal Hanfi (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that he be taken to the garden of Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), so that he could perform ghusl (ritual bath). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your companion’s Islam has become good.
Hadith 921
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qais bin Asim (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he accepted Islam during the Prophetic era, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with water and lotus leaves.
