بَابٌ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ
Chapter on Wiping Over Socks and Sandals
Hadith 753
عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) performed ablution and wiped over his socks and shoes.
Hadith 754
عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws bin Abi Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) perform ablution, in which he wiped over his shoes, and then stood up for prayer.
Hadith 755
(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws bin Abu Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his shoes.
Hadith 756
(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَالِثٍ) عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْسِ الثَّقَفِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى كِظَامَةَ قَوْمٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ
(Third chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) go to the channel between the two wells of the people and perform ablution there.
