Hadith 650
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ خَلَّلَ لِحْيَتَهُ بِالْمَاءِ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would use water to comb through his beard.
Hadith 651
عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ تَمَضْمَضَ وَمَسَحَ لِحْيَتَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا بِالْمَاءِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would rinse his mouth and use water to comb through his beard from underneath.
Hadith 652
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَضْمَضَ ثَلَاثًا وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا وَكَانَ يَمْسَحُ الْمَاقَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ، قَالَ:
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, then rinsed his mouth three times, put water into his nose three times, wiped his hand over the corner of his eyes, and used to wipe his head once, and he used to say: "The ears are part of the head."
