Hadith 647
عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) that water for ablution was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then he performed ablution in such a way that he washed both hands three times, washed his face three times, washed his arms three times each, rinsed his mouth and put water into his nose three times each, wiped his head and the outer and inner parts of his ears, and then washed both feet three times each.
Hadith 648
عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أُخْرِجُ لَهُ (تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ) الْمَاءَ فِي هَذَا فَيَصُبُّ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُمَا) وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيُمَضْمِضُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَغْسِلُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثَلَاثًا وَالْيُسْرَى ثَلَاثًا، الْحَدِيثَ
It is narrated from Sayyida Rabi’ bint Mu’awwidh (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I used to pour water for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from this vessel; he would pour water over his hands three times. In one narration, it is mentioned: before putting his hands into the vessel, he would wash them three times, then wash his face three times, rinse his mouth three times, and inhale water into his nose three times, wash his right arm three times, and wash his left arm three times, … … .
Hadith 649
عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبَانَ قَالَ: دَعَا عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِمَاءٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمَقَاعِدِ فَسَكَبَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ فَغَسَلَهَا (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا فَغَسَلَهَا) ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ وَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ وَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ، الْحَدِيثَ
Humran bin Aban, may Allah have mercy on him, says: Sayyiduna Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, called for water while he was in the sitting place. He poured water over his right hand and washed it. In one narration, it is mentioned: He poured water over both his hands three times and washed them. Then he put his right hand into the vessel and washed his palms three times. Then he washed his face three times, rinsed his mouth, took water into his nose and expelled it. Then he washed his arms up to and including the elbows three times. Then he wiped his head... ... .
