Hadith 588
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a person performs ablution and performs it well and completely, and then comes to the mosque solely with the intention of prayer, Allah Almighty becomes as pleased because of him as people are pleased at the arrival of a man who had been absent."
Hadith 589
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not guide you to such deeds by which Allah erases sins and increases good deeds?" The people said: "Yes, indeed, O Messenger of Allah!" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Completing ablution thoroughly despite dislikes, taking many steps towards the mosques, and waiting for one prayer after another prayer."
Hadith 590
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrated a similar hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but with this addition: "This is ribat."
Hadith 591
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When a servant performs ablution and comes to the mosque, Allah Almighty writes ten good deeds for each step he takes. Then, when he prays in the mosque and sits there, he is like one who fasts and stands in prayer, until he returns."
Hadith 592
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you performs ablution and performs it well, and then sets out with the intention of prayer, he should not intertwine his fingers with each other, because he is considered to be in prayer."
Hadith 593
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution and perfects the ablution, then goes to the mosque to perform the obligatory prayer and performs that prayer, his sins will be forgiven."
Hadith 594
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was in this gathering, he performed ablution and performed it well, and then said: "Whoever performs ablution like this of mine, then comes to the mosque and offers two rak'ahs, his previous sins will be forgiven." Then he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "So do not be deceived."
