Hadith 569
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَنَامُ إِلَّا وَالسِّوَاكُ عِنْدَهُ، فَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ بَدَأَ بِالسِّوَاكِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would sleep, the miswak would be near him. So when he would wake up, he would begin with the miswak.
Hadith 570
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَرْقُدُ لَيْلًا وَلَا نَهَارًا فَيَسْتَيْقِظُ إِلَّا تَسَوَّكَ
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up from sleep, whether at night or during the day, he would use the miswak.
Hadith 571
عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ التَّهَجُّدِ) يَشُوصُ فَاهُ بِالسِّوَاكِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up at night, and in one narration: when he would wake up for Tahajjud, he would clean his mouth with a miswak.
Hadith 572
عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْمَطْرَ قَالَ: ((اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا)) قَالَ: وَسَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ يَبْدَأُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ؟ قَالَتْ: بِالسِّوَاكِ
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw rain, he would supplicate: «اللّٰہُمَّ صَیِّبًا نَافِعًا» … "O Allah! Send down beneficial rain." Shuraih (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the house, what would he begin with? She said: "With the miswak."
