Hadith 492
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي قُرَادٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَاجًّا فَرَأَيْتُهُ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ بِالْإِدَاوَةِ أَوِ الْقَدَحِ، فَجَلَسْتُ لَهُ بِالطَّرِيقِ وَكَانَ إِذَا أَتَى حَاجَتَهُ أَبْعَدَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abu Qurad (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I went out with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was going for Hajj. When I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out from the toilet, I started walking behind him with a water vessel and sat down for him on the way. And whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to relieve himself, he would go far away.
Hadith 493
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ أَتَى الْغَائِطَ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِلَّا أَنْ يَجْمَعَ كَثِيبًا مِنْ رَمْلٍ فَلْيَسْتَدْبِرْهُ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَلْعَبُ بِمَقَاعِدِ بَنِي آدَمَ، مَنْ فَعَلَ فَقَدْ أَحْسَنَ وَمَنْ لَا فَلَا حَرَجَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever comes to relieve himself should conceal himself, and if he does not find anything (to conceal with), he should gather a heap of sand and turn his back towards it, because Satan plays with the backsides of the children of Adam." Whoever does so has done well, and whoever does not, there is no harm upon him.
Hadith 494
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَسَنَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَنَا وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ جَالِسَيْنِ، قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ دَرَقَةٌ أَوْ شِبْهُهَا فَاسْتَتَرَ بِهَا فَبَالَ جَالِسًا، قَالَ: فَقُلْنَا: أَيَبُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا تَبُولُ الْمَرْأَةُ؟ قَالَ: فَجَاءَنَا فَقَالَ: ((أَوَمَا عَلِمْتُمْ مَا أَصَابَ صَاحِبَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، كَانَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْهُمْ إِذَا أَصَابَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ قَرَضَهُ، فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَعُذِّبَ فِي قَبْرِهِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Hasnah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I and Sayyiduna Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) were sitting, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and he had a shield or something similar to it with him. He (peace be upon him) used it as a screen and sat down to urinate. We said: "Does the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) urinate like a woman?" Meanwhile, he (peace be upon him) returned and said: "Do you not know what punishment befell the companion of Banu Israel? The detail is that when any individual from Banu Israel would get urine on himself, he would cut off that part, but their companion forbade them from doing so, so because of this he was punished in the grave."
Hadith 495
((وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِنَحْوِهِ) وَفِيهِ: فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ: انْظُرُوا إِلَيْهِ يَبُولُ كَمَا تَبُولُ الْمَرْأَةُ، قَالَ: فَسَمِعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: ((وَيْحَكَ، أَمَا عَلِمْتَ مَا أَصَابَ صَاحِبَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ)) الْحَدِيثَ
A similar narration exists, however in it: Some people said, "Look at the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), he is urinating like a woman." The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) heard this and said, "Woe to you, do you not know what punishment befell the companion of the Children of Israel?"
Hadith 496
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَا يَخْرُجُ الرَّجُلَانِ يَضْرِبَانِ الْغَائِطَ كَاشِفَيْنِ عَوْرَتَهُمَا يَتَحَدَّثَانِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَمْقُتُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two men should not go out in such a way that both are relieving themselves, exposing their private parts, and conversing with each other in that state, for Allah Almighty is greatly displeased with such a situation."
