Hadith 351
Abu Imran Jouni (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The practices we used to adhere to during the Prophetic era, today none of those things are to be seen." We asked: "Then what about the prayer?" He said: "Have you not done in the prayer those things which you yourselves know?"
Hadith 352
Thabit Banani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The things I used to see in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), today I do not see any of those things among you, except that your saying of «لاَ إِلٰہَ إِلَّا اللّٰہُ» is the same." I said: "O Abu Hamzah! (But) the prayer is the same, isn't it?" He said: "You have performed the ('Asr) prayer at the time of sunset; was this the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" Then he said: "Even so, I have not seen any time better for the doer than your present time, except for the time in the company of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Hadith 353
Sayyida Umm Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me in a state of anger. I asked: “Who has made you angry?” He said: “By Allah! I do not see anything among these people that contains the command of Muhammad (peace be upon him), except that they pray together.” In another narration it is: “Except for the prayer.”
