Hadith 5512

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْقُدَ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يَرْقُدُ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to sleep, he would perform ablution as for prayer and then go to sleep.
