عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ حَسَّانَ قَالَ فِي حَلْقَةٍ فِيهِمْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أُنْشِدُكَ اللَّهَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَجِبْ عَنِّي أَيَّدَكَ اللَّهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ قَالَ نَعَمْ
Ibn Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Sayyiduna Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) said in a gathering, in which Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present, "O Abu Hurairah! I ask you by Allah, did you hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Hassan! Respond on my behalf, Allah Almighty will support you with the Holy Spirit.'?" He said: "Yes."

Benefits: … When the disbelievers satirized the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the noble Companions, he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam commanded Sayyiduna Hassan radi Allahu anhu to defend on his sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s behalf.
