It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at the place of 'Arj when suddenly a poet appeared before us, reciting poetry. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Seize this devil, or he said: Stop this devil. If a person's stomach is filled with pus, it is better for him than to have his stomach filled with poetry.
