بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي التَّرْهِيْبِ مِنْ تَشْقِيقِ الْكَلَامِ وَالتَّشَدُّقِ فِيهِ وَمَا جَاءَ فِي الْبَيَانِ فِي الْقَوْلِChapter on what has been narrated regarding warning against splitting speech and being pretentious in it, and what has been narrated regarding eloquence in speech
Hadith 9931

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَطَبَا فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْ بَيَانِهِمَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا وَإِنَّ بَعْضَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرٌ
(THE SECOND CHAIN) Two men from the people of the East came to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and they addressed him in such a manner that the people were amazed. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, some speech is magic. Indeed, some speech is magic.
