بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي التَّرْهِيْبِ مِنَ الْكَذِبِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَالتَّعْلِيطِ فِي ذَلِكَChapter on what has been narrated regarding warning against lying about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the strictness regarding it
Hadith 9902

عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((لَا تَكْذِبُوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يَكْذِبْ عَلَيَّ يَلِجِ النَّارَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Do not lie about me, for indeed whoever lies about me will enter the Fire.
