Hadith 990

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((أُوْتِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَجُعِلَتْ لِي الْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been given comprehensive words, and the earth has been made a mosque and a purifier for me.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Jawami‘ al-Kalim: By this is meant that, apparently, the speech is concise and composed of words with few letters, but within it are encompassed numerous meanings and rulings.
