Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Lying about the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is not like ordinary lying. The greatest reason for this is that the speech of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam related to the Shari‘ah is revelation (wahy), which in reality is the will of Allah Ta‘ala, because legislation of the Shari‘ah is solely the right of Allah Ta‘ala. However, when a false statement is attributed to the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it is a crime equivalent to fabricating a lie against Allah Ta‘ala, and this would entail legislating in the Shari‘ah, which is the exclusive right of Allah Ta‘ala. In any case, many evils result from lying about the Noble Prophet.
