عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ قُرْطٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَعْمَلُونَ الْيَوْمَ أَعْمَالًا فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Ubada bin Qirt (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Indeed, today you people commit such and such actions that … … . Then he mentioned it in the same way as the previous statement.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … There are two forms of fisq (open sinfulness): committing a major sin (kabirah) and persisting in minor sins (saghirah). Therefore, just as one must avoid major sins, every possible effort should also be made to refrain from minor sins.
