Hadith 9843

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((يَا عَائِشَةُ إِيَّاكِ وَمُحَقَّرَاتِ الذُّنُوبِ فَإِنَّ لَهَا مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ طَالِبًا))
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Refrain from committing minor sins, for there will be an angel from Allah Almighty who will question about them.

Benefits: … It is part of the etiquette of a believer that no good deed should be abandoned considering it insignificant, nor should any evil be committed thinking it to be trivial, because the seemingly minor heedlessness and laziness throughout one’s life can become the cause of a person’s destruction.
