Hadith 9803

عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَغْلِبَ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا لُكْعُ بْنُ لُكَعٍ وَأَفْضَلُ النَّاسِ مُؤْمِنٌ بَيْنَ كَرِيمَتَيْنِ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ
A companion of the Messenger narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: It is possible that the most despicable of despicable people may gain dominance over the world, and at that time, the best among the people will be the believer who is between two noble ones.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … By "Luka‘ bin Luka‘" (the vile son of the vile) is meant a person who is of low and despicable lineage, and it is also possible that it refers to someone whose lineage is unknown and whom people do not praise.

What is meant by "two noble ones"? (1) That the believer’s parents are Muslims, or (2) that his father and son are Muslims, or (3) by "two noble ones" are meant two excellent types of horses upon which the believer will ride to perform jihad. In the first two meanings, "noble" refers to one who is pure from the filth of sin or the impurity of disbelief and polytheism.
